This car runs absolutely amazing. It is extremely powerful and every option works like new. The paint is in astonishing original condition. There are no dings, chips or scratches. The interior looks exactly as it did when it rolled out of the factory in Germany, 1988. To keep this simple, the car presents itself as new. It has had every scheduled service since new. It has never had any major work outside of the normal scheduled maintenance, and it has been driven regularly, but sparingly. It has never sat for any extended period of time. I tend to be very critical when describing the condition of any car, and I have personally owned and seen many other R107 SLs of this caliber; museum pieces and private collections. But I have yet to see any in the condition of this 560SL in particular.
