She is a 1982 Euro spec non-turbo 300TD. This is a custom order car with all of the original documents including the original invoice from Daimler-Benz in Stuttgart on 07.12.82 for DM 42 281,25. Also included are the US DOT and EPA federalization paperwork from Long Beach, Ca in 1982 and a serious stack of maintenance receipts over the years. She has exactly 199k miles but shows as a car with less than 100k. 

This car has lived in a garage throughout it's life and has had all non-smoking owners. The interior is in beautiful condition, zero cracks in the dash and no wear on the seats or door panels. All carpet is excellent, no tears or cigarette burns. Wood is excellent. Rear cargo area is clean and there are no stains. There are also a number of interesting Euro-dealer add-on's such as the rear mud flaps, stainless door edge guards, and an interior thermometer. Original Becker radio and fender-mounted manual Hirschmann Antenna. Sunroof delete. 

The code 040 Black paint shines beautifully and looks to be all original except for the area around the fuel door. There are only a few minor dings and imperfections in the paint from age. Inner fender bolts are undisturbed. Body is straight and there is no accident history. Chrome on bumpers is excellent with no dents or rust. Original Hella halogen headlamps are excellent with no pitting or cracks and have the vacuum adjust feature. Windshield is a replacement, however all other glass is factory original with factory tint. 

Mechanically, the car is great. I just had it serviced at my MBZ specialist. The car starts up strong without blow-by and there are no oil leaks of any kind. Gear shifts are silky smooth.
